Billy Isidoro is a native of Albuquerque, NM and graduated from the University of New Mexico with a major in music education.
He is a singer/songwriter with and deep commitment to sharing his faith in God in his musical craft.He has written hundreds of songs in a variety of styles including rock, pop, folk, blues, jazz, and classical. He is an accomplished guitarist on a variety of guitars including acoustic, electric, classical, twelve-string, and bass. In addition to guitar he plays keyboards, and trumpet.
Billy is currently leading Worship at Christ Community Fellowship in Albuquerque NM. He also lead worship for the Celebrate Recovery Program at First United Methodist Church in downtown Albuquerque for 12 years. In addition to his church work, he has a ministry to the homeless of Albuquerque where he plays several times a month at a variety of different events and venues.
Billy enjoys doing concerts but his greatest passion is for camp and retreat ministry where the setting increases the opportunity to make a deep and lasting impact. Some of the camps and retreats Billy has been involved with for over thirty years include: a variety of youth and adult events at Sacramento Methodist Assembly in southern New Mexico including Camp Sunshine*, several Walk to Emmaus retreats and gatherings in New Mexico and Southern Colorado, many camps at Beaver Creek Youth Camp in South Fork, CO where he was also a Program Director for eight summers from 2003 through 2010, and Grand Mesa Baptist Camp where he has done music for a Sr. High Camp for the last three summers from 2012 through 2014.
*Camp Sunshine is a camp for the mentally handicapped that Billy has personally been involved with for over 30 years
